• Northland Corporation - Began in 1892 as Ranney Refrigeration Company and became the Refrigeration Division of Fedders Corporation in 1970. In 1978 the company was purchased by its president and a local investor, at which time it was renamed Northland Corporation. It is now part of the Aga Rangemaster Group.
